The project involves the establishment of a 2x20MVA 66/11kV substation at Karahalli in Devanahalli Taluk, Bengaluru rural district, along with the installation of 1.205 km of 66kV 1000 sqmm underground cable. Additionally, it includes providing an alternate power source to the existing 66/11kV Sorahunase Substation by laying 5.82 km of 66kV 1000 sqmm underground cable from the existing 220/66kV Hagaduru GIS Substation in Bengaluru East Taluk.
